HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR RISE & RAMBLE COLLECTION

NATURALLY DYED OR PRINTED TEXTILES

You may machine wash these one gentle, alone. Use a pH neutral detergent. Avoid acidic or alkaline chemical modifiers that my alter color, such as household items vinegar, lemon juice, or baking soda. Hang or lay flat to dry. Once dry you may fluff in dryer to regain softness or press/steam for a crisp finish. Use care when pressing silk. Keep out of direct sunlight and store in controlled temperatures.

SILK NOIL, LINEN, COTTON, HEMP

The Black, White, and Ecru (natural ivory) colorways in these fabrics are machine washable. When using a machine, we recommend washing alone or with like-colored items on the gentle cycle using a mild detergent. Tumble dry on low heat and remove promptly. After laundering, these pieces will have a soft, rumpled look that we love. If you wish to get a crisp finish these garments can be steamed or pressed with care.

SILK CREPE AND CHARMEUSE

Due to the delicacy of these fibers, we recommend hand washing and hanging or laying flat to dry. Once dry, press or steam with care to release wrinkles. May also be dry cleaned.

SILK VELVET

We recommend dry cleaning silk velvet for the best preservation.

FOR BEST RESULTS, FOLLOW EACH ITEMS SPECIFIC CARE INSTRUCTIONS.

NOTE, OVER TIME SOFTENING AND SUBTLE FADING WILL OCCUR LIKE ON ANY NATURAL FIBER OR DYED GARMENT, BUT THIS IS WHAT MAKES THESE TEXTILES OUR FAVORITE BECAUSE THEY GET SOFTER WITH EACH WASH AND WEAR. WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO EMBRACE THE UNIQUE CHARACTERISTICS OF YOUR DYED PIECES THAT ALTER WITH TIME AND INCREASE IN BEAUTY. IF YOU WISH TO MINIMIZE THIS, ONLY WASH WHEN NECESSARY AND USE COLD WATER. TO BEST PRESERVE THE ORIGINAL TEXTURE AND DEPTH AS WHEN RECEIVED DRY CLEAN. WE ADVISE USING AN ENVIRONMENTAL FRIENDLY OR "GREEN" CLEANER THAT DOES NOT USE HARSH CHEMICALS.
