Meet the Muse : Emma Pilkington
Our most recent photoshoot took place in a parking garage in downtown Raleigh, aiming to capture the rich colors and textures of our velvet collection juxtaposed against the cold, hard concrete of the Dillon rooftop. Emma modeled our collection, dancing about the roof top, requesting jazz on the radio to get her moving. The chemistry between Jenn (our photographer), Emma, and our velvet collection was pure magic. You can see it in the movement - the drape of the dresses and Emma's fun, laid-back attitude that beams through the photos. If you haven't had the pleasure of meeting Emma before, she has an alluring aura to her, with envious curls and a kind soul. We asked her some questions below -
What is your favorite place for a cup of jo?
Boulted Bread and Fount Coffee.
Where do you like to take friends visiting Raleigh?
I love taking people to Brewery Bhavana and Escazú Chocolate. I have some quiet nature spots as well.
What was on your gift list this holiday?
I don't usually make a gift list. I guess a nice meal out, all expenses paid!
Best beauty secret?
Eat well, drink water, enjoy life's simple gifts. Contentment and joy is a beautiful thing to behold in a person's countenance.
Where would your dream resort getaway be during these winter months?
A beautiful white washed room, donned in linen, overlooking the Mediterranean.
